For UK contractors and builders
Win the tender. SSIP-ready health and safety for UK contractors, set up in a day.
Pre-qualification questions, a principal contractor asking for RAMS and competence records, an HSE visit: each one asks for the same evidence. AccrediMe keeps it in one place - inductions and toolbox talks with certificates, inspections with photos, incidents with the RIDDOR clock, risk assessments and the actions that close them - so the answer is already written down.
Start 14-day free trial - No card needed. Nothing is charged when the trial ends.
- 2 UK regulations covered, 19 duties linked to legislation.gov.uk
- 14-day free trial, no card
- From £49 a month for the whole firm, plus VAT
- Works in the browser on a phone - nothing to install
Everything the next tender asks for, already in their hands
Your people do the work on site. AccrediMe keeps the record while they do it, on the phone in their pocket.
Inspections and site audits: Checks that leave a record behind them
Scaffold, ladder and plant checks answered Yes or No on a phone, with photos. A failed item raises an action with an owner and a due date.
Build a checklist once - or start from one - and anyone with a login runs it on site. Each answer is dated, scored and kept with its photos, and a failed item becomes an action that is followed until it is closed.
- Yes / No, number and multiple-choice questions, with photos and notes
- A score for every completed check
- Failed items raise corrective actions automatically
- Scheduled checks, so the weekly scaffold inspection is not forgotten
Toolbox talks and competence: Prove who knows what, before the principal contractor asks
Assign a talk to a gang with a due date; each operative completes it on their phone and gets a certificate. The matrix shows who is in date.
Every operative has one record: the talks and courses they have done, the certificates they hold, and what runs out when. Reminders go out before a certificate expires, and the matrix exports as the training record a pre-qualification asks for.
- Talks and courses assigned by trade, gang or person, with due dates
- A certificate for every completion
- Expiry reminders before a certificate runs out
- A training matrix you can export
Incidents and RIDDOR: The RIDDOR clock, counted from the day it happened
Report an accident or near miss from site in a minute. The record shows whether it may be reportable to the HSE, and by when.
RIDDOR deadlines run from the incident, not from the day someone filled in a form. AccrediMe counts them that way: 10 days for a specified injury or dangerous occurrence, 15 for an over-seven-day injury. You report to the HSE; AccrediMe keeps the record RIDDOR asks you to keep.
- Accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences, reported from a phone
- The RIDDOR report-by date, counted from the incident
- Investigation and actions on the same record
- The accident record RIDDOR asks you to keep
Site inductions: New starters ready for site, with the evidence to show it
Step-by-step induction packs for new operatives and subcontractors, each step linked to the regulation behind it. You see who is ready for site.
Give a new operative or a subcontractor the induction pack for the job. They work through it on their phone - skills card, site induction, the RAMS for their first task, the awareness courses - and you see each step ticked off.
- Ready-made packs for new operatives and subcontractor pre-start
- Each step names the regulation it evidences
- Progress for every person, in one place
What it gets you
Pre-qualification with the evidence to hand
SSIP schemes such as CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor and SMAS ask how you train people, assess risk, record accidents and check your work. Keep each record where you can show it, dated and signed, instead of rebuilding a folder for every tender.
Principal contractors stop chasing you
Risk assessments for your RAMS, induction records and in-date certificates for every operative, ready to send before the start date.
Competence you can prove
CDM 2015 and the Building Safety Act changes ask contractors to show their people have the skills, knowledge and experience for the job. Each operative gets one record: courses done, certificates held, what expires when.

- High-Risk Contractor Pack (8 steps)

Toolbox talks with certificates
Write a talk once, assign it to a gang or a trade with a due date, and everyone who completes it gets a certificate. Operatives do it on their phone.
A competence matrix that keeps itself
Who has done what, what is overdue, and reminders before a certificate runs out. Export it as the training matrix a pre-qualification asks for.
Inspections and pre-use checks
Site, scaffold, ladder and plant checks with photos, scored and dated. Build your own or start from a checklist.
Accidents and near misses, with the RIDDOR clock
Anyone with a login reports from site in a minute. The record shows whether it may be reportable to the HSE and the deadline.
Risk assessments for your RAMS
Describe the job or take a photo and AI drafts the hazards and controls; you edit and approve them. Kept in one register with review dates.
Actions that get closed
Every failed check, incident finding and risk control becomes an action with an owner and a due date, followed until it is done.
Method statements and policies, current on site
Controlled documents with versions and sign-off, and a QR code on site so anyone can read the current version.

Questions contractors ask
Will AccrediMe get me CHAS, Constructionline or SSIP accreditation?
No. AccrediMe is not an SSIP member scheme and does not award CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS or any other accreditation. You apply to the scheme you choose. AccrediMe keeps the records its questions ask about - training and certificates, risk assessments, inspections, accident and RIDDOR records, and the actions you took - so you can answer with evidence.
Do I need a card for the free trial?
No. The trial lasts 14 days and no card is taken. If you do not subscribe, the account moves to the free plan when the trial ends; nothing is charged automatically.
What does it cost after the trial?
Contractor is £49 a month (up to 10 users); Contractor Team is £129 a month (up to 50 users). Pay annually and it is ten times the monthly price - two months free. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout. One price covers the firm; it is not charged per form or per site.
Can my operatives use it on site?
Yes. Inductions, toolbox talks, checks and incident reports work in the browser on a phone, so nothing has to be installed. Managers see who has done what from the office.
Does it report to the HSE for me?
No - the responsible person reports to the HSE. When you record an accident or dangerous occurrence, AccrediMe shows whether it may be reportable under RIDDOR and the deadline, and keeps the record RIDDOR asks you to keep.
Does it write my RAMS?
It helps with the risk assessment half. Describe the task or upload a photo and AI drafts the hazards and controls; you edit and approve them, and nothing is final until you do. AI help is included up to your plan's monthly allowance and pauses when it is used up - nothing extra is charged.
AccrediMe is not an SSIP member scheme and is not affiliated with or endorsed by CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS or the HSE. You apply to the scheme you choose; AccrediMe keeps the records its questions ask about.
